About the Presenter:

Presenter: Bob Kovanic, CPA, MBA, Padgett Business Services

About the Presenter: Bob, a 25 year resident of Sugar Grove, Illinois, earned a BS Finance degree from Bradley University and subsequently an MBA degree from Keller Graduate School. He has been a CPA in Illinois since 1995. Prior to Padgett, Bob worked for privately held companies either as CFO or Controller, being an integral member of the management team responsible for the health and prosperity of the organization. Beginning in 2001, after selling his successful restaurant distribution business, Bob worked for private equity groups being tasked with the responsibility of strengthening and growing companies currently held in their portfolio.

With the desire to be a business owner again, Bob searched for the opportunity that afforded him the chance to work with small businesses, aid in their development and help the business owner obtain their goals. Padgett was at the end of Bob’s search and in 2009 became as a franchisee. Padgett has an established national presence offering accounting, payroll, and tax tools necessary to help small businesses stay organized and allow the owner to stay focused on running the business successfully.
